  3. Solar energy powers hiking life
September 26, 2018 Randy Long

In the outdoors when we are alone, the phone crashes, in the psychology we will have panic? Cell phones are the most important thing we can't live without now. When we go hiking alone, when we are in the wild, when we see a beautiful picture in front of us, it would be a pity not to take a picture of it. However, we are so far away from the socket that it is impossible to charge our mobile phone. What is the best charging device for our hiking?

Hiking if we only take charge when the treasure is not enough, now, many of our electronic product power consumption is quite fast, mobile phone is usually about 3000 MAh , using time is eight hours, we continue to use and we always will install all kinds of mobile phone APP, power consumption is very fast, if we go to Nepal that suit to the city on foot, hiking, region than remote could not find a place to charge immediately, but we are very lucky, there are all kinds of solar charging device in the market now can devices of all kinds of power supply for us, and very portable, Solar panel charging equipment can charge your device.

25W Solar Charger Flexible Solar Panel

We can hang our 25W iForway folded solar panels directly on our backpacks (remember to buy a sturdy backpack that does a lot of hiking for us), so we can use light to power our phones while we're hiking. Even if our lives are now off the grid, it no longer means that our lives will be cut off in the dark. Solar panels now focus on portability, durability, efficiency and connectivity. The solar panel design work will also take more into consideration, even on a cloudy day and in a cool place, this 25W solar panel can keep your power! For our smart phones and some of the electronics you use during your hike.

I used iForway solar panels with a friend of mine, Marcel, to accompany us on a backpacking trip for nearly half a month in a place called Yuban village in Deqin county, Yunnan province. I put solar panels on the top of my backpack so I can charge up when I'm hiking. I use it to recharge the external battery during the day and charge my phone at night. I met a lot of other hikers on a Yuban hike who complained to us that their chargers couldn't provide enough power for their phones. Not only can I charge my phone, but I can also charge some of my partner's electronics. So I highly recommend that when we're hiking, we can charge some of the backup power we bring instead of charging the phone directly. The solar panels also charge well, and I try to charge my friends' smart phones while hiking. Whenever I walk in the shade, the phone vibrator makes a buzzing sound every few seconds, which makes me very annoyed and very fast, and I think all of these sounds probably consume more energy than the phone collects. Another tip is to connect the wires of the item you're charging to a solar cell. Because the sun is directly on the solar cell, the area under the battery gets hot, and if the battery and phone overheat, they stop charging. The solution is to connect the USB cable to your device far from direct sunlight. It's satisfying to know that your phone is full of solar energy. Connect it to my power bank, and I bring solar energy! Very free! There is also a neat pouch to keep the wires or your device charged.

portable solar energy for your hiking

If you think a solar panels can't meet your hiking trip, or you are worried about the function of the solar panels can't highlight in bad weather, you can choose a reliable iForway 600W portable solar generator (can also be applied to some other place, like some emergency situation, household and other outdoor activities, life need) or backup power supply, the need to give these special important electronic equipment power supply, such as CPAP, GPS or mobile phones. This solar charger powers all my accessories. With so much solar power, I can't wait to use it to power more of my home.

Get ready for your next hike! May be a lucky power source on our journey.
